Remember, these same people called Ice Cube a sellout because he said he’d be WILLING to meet with both administrations to get something for black people. He never even met with Trump, just a representative from his camp. Biden’s people told him after the election (and he still hasn’t had that meeting).

I don’t think Just Blaze deserved that because he was minding his business, and Sean said he’s never even spoken about politics (I wonder if Ye had him confused). Other than that, I had no issue with anyone else he got at. Seems like it was only John Legend and Sean he said he don’t rock with anymore though.

Bruh in Higher Learning these Negrocrats are crazy, calling me white boy and all types of shyt because I said I left The Democrat Plantation and register as an Independent, I've been an independent for 20 year's I'm a Independent Moderate Centrist with Traditional Black Family Value's that's down with the ADOS Movement.

You’ve basically recognized and defined bi polar disorder as being “a drunk uncle.”

it’s the same thing but one is the medical definition :russ:

Bring bi polar is nothing like being drunk. A person could feel on top of the world and then suddenly become depressed without notice. Somebody that was outgoing is all of a sudden reclusive. They can struggle with doing normal, everyday activities like simply getting out of bed. Unchecked, they can become suicidal. A drunk can simply lie down and come off of a buzz unless they are an alcoholic, which is also a disorder.

The ONE thing i’ll say is I don’t like how he went at Talib.

Yea Yea I know its Talib and he’s become kind of a joke around here the last few years but he went in on Kanye for the MAGA shyt he was saying everything we all FELT about how Kanye was moving. Kanye said out his own mouth that slavery was a choice and realllllyyyyy thought nikkas wasn’t going to have something to say about it?

Also him saying he never liked Talib as a rapper is hypocritical and a straight up LIE seeing as he thanked Talib at the end of his first album and spoke about how much touring with Talib helped him grow AS a rapper. Not to mention working with him on multiple songs across multiple projects

He said he told Talib Black Star is one of the greatest album ever, you can work with some one and think they wack on The mic, he probably kept that personal opinion to himself, they both benefited from each other during that time, didn't Talib got beats from Ye on Quality? Business Is Business

So your Kanye West about to put out your first album and you put somebody you wholeheartedly feel in your heart and soul is WACK on the album??!?! Does that make sense? Does that sound like “visionary perfectionist” Kanye West to you?

And how could Black Star be one of the greatest albums all of time if a wack MC is literally 50% of the album?!?! Again that makes no sense.

Kanye was straight up capin. Say what you will about Talib Kweli but him being a wack MC isn’t one of those things. And Kanye is ON WAX thanking him personally for inspiring his OWN craftsmanship.

:mjlol:

that’s the most basic shyt in the entire universe

find me someone that doesn’t think that

We are on a forum talking about the Kanye interview. That's why it's being said. Whether or not is "basic shyt" is not the point. The point is, as a society (more specifically as black ppl) we aren't at that place where people fully feel free to be themselves without scrutiny, where we have resources to make decisions based on preference and not necessity, etc. Kanye was making that point. I highlighted it because we are talking about the interview.

Stop talking just to talk.

This thread is being ruined by people;
  • Wanting to talk about shyt that don't have anything to do with the interview
  • dikkriders
This shyt was entertaining as fukk--there's a million threads to talk about how much u hate Kanye

but, ya'll so used to this bullshyt PC culture, that it cuts like a knife when you hear something you don't like

Listen, don't listen, but, some of ya'll acting like he talking about your parents

Of course, he said a lot of bullshyt, but, the nikka been around a lot of music, a lot of hip-hop history and is a legend--like him or love him

:yeshrug:

I didn't give a fukk about the fashion shyt

Yeah. Grown men acting like sensitive bytches. That was the most entertaining interview I have seen a long while. I was completely engaged.

I am glad he did get at Talib. Talib derserved that. I am however disappointed at Ye's feelings about John Legend and Big Sean. Especially with John Legend because that's his DAY ONE. They were together grinding out trying to get known from the beginning. To a degree I get why Ye is mad at them and he explained why him and Pusha T are still cool. If both John and Sean distanced himself from Ye and came out publicly slandering his name whether it's true or not and you supposed to be family, and not just family but the main reason behind their individual fame and wealth, just to appease the whites.... I would of taken the position too.

But at the same time, Kanye was trying to befriend Trump. And a lot of people took exception to that. Here's the difference that I see in this: Common, John Legend, Pusha T, Talib, Big Sean ALL were riding white liberals dikks being campaign PUPPETS, on campaign trails begging black people to vote Democrat WITHOUT any terms of conditions as to what BLACK PEOPLE NEED that's tangible and benefit the black community. This is why Talib hoe ass is AGAINST anything ADOS because they actually demand things like reparations and tangible policies for black people and not the generalized "people of color". None of those rappers and John Legend really pushed efforts to get these white folks to push actual policy beneficial for black people.

Whereas, with Kanye.... Kanye saw a lot of himself in Trump in terms of personality. And could relate to him from that aspect. HOWEVER, and this to make this clear. He NEVER CAMPAIGNED FOR TRUMP. Unlike those sellouts on the other side that were trumpeting for Biden and Kamala. At worse, he wore the hat to which Kanye pretty much admits he was trolling trying to be contrarian. But when he went to meet Trump at the Oval Office with Jim Brown and Larry Hoover Jr, he came with a LIST of things he wanted Trump to do for BLACK PEOPLE, especially telling him he needed to free Larry Hoover. He pushed things to Trump with the INTENT of policies and agendas that'll benefited BLACK PEOPLE to which Trump actually listened and to an extent actually agreed to do along with assistance of those pardons that Kim K, his wife, was pushing. And it is actually SAD that MORE black policies were committed and approved through the Trump administration than ANY OTHER president since LBJ. and it was in LARGE PART of the meeting with Kanye.

But nobody cares about that because the IMAGE of Kanye and Trump sickens them. But is he more of a sellout because he went to Trump with a black agenda, or are people like John Legend, Big Sean, Common, Pusha T sellouts for kissing white people's asses because they're Democrat with NO actual black agenda to push to them to get executed? Democrats love to use BLACK ENTERTAINERS to pimp the black vote. But never provide anything for black people.
Naw John Legend and Big Sean were out of pocket cause its like they were jumping at the opportunity to talk shyt on their homie. Politics ruin friendships everyday b.

Just finished it. I really enjoyed that interview Ye actually funny as fukk :mjlol: he really let his personality shine and he wasn’t on no crazy shyt. He just all over the place with his thought process and the way he articulates himself but there was a few gems in there

Bruh personally this interview taught me the internet, Twitter, message boards Is nothing but sheep individuals, who most likely are incels, who just want to be seen and heard and feel like they apart of something, who hate their lives, have short attention span and don't have listening skills, common sense and reading comprehension skills

Now A Man is a Man and we don't have to agree on everything. But I knew Kanye wasn't crazy but being around the internet, seeing and hearing that shyt over and over and over you can get programmed into believing whatever they tell you if you don't protect your mind and thoughts. Kanye just reprogrammed alot of people. You know what I seen today on Twitter. Kanye is not crazy. They seen for themselves

This was a great interview. Don't agree with everything he said, but at least we're seeing a dude get up there and be unapologetically himself. The one thing I don't like is how he romanticizes these Euro designers. I get that he likes fashion, but you can tell he places it higher in terms of cultural hierarchy than rapping. He even likened being called a "rapper" to being called the N word even though he referred to himself as a rapper multiple times in the interview lol

Like he wasn’t:mjcry: because the European fashion houses weren’t giving him the keys.

Push publicly spoke about how he didn’t fukk with Ye’s political views.

Push was asked he said they don't see eye to eye and he was a democrat, and they discuss it privately, Kanye is a grown ass man and they have dift opinions and he kept it moving in that interview and left it like that I read that interview.

Lupe Fiasco, Big Sean and John Legend took it further to appease people
