One of the greatest album of all time. Imo the best combination of Ye pushing boundaries in combination with making hits.
sure... this album is a classic. Ye is in my top 10. He made some amazing music but, can someone pls tell me, what boundaries did he push with late registration?

Pushing boundaries might not be the right word, but the mix of hiphop, classical music and 60s-70s soul music was something I'd never heard before

Actually always put this as my 2nd fav Ye album, but I guess that's cause MBDTF made me a huge Ye fan. LR might actually be his best

Anyone in here feel like Gone is top 5 Ye? Perfect closer to the album imo, Ye's final verse:whoo:

Consequence had a career defining verse on that track:wow:

I fukking LOVE this album man. Kanye was at his zenith and absolutely nailed it. All the guests were picture perfect.

Celebration is still my personal favorite Kanye song.

Are you implying dropout was a masterpiece?
Anyways he has four masterpieces including Registration, and no matter how hard you guys fight it Kanye wouldn't be considered shyt (hyperbole) or have a Legacy without them.
Those (including registration) are what made him into an icon and lead to him being considered one of the greatest artists of the 21st century, those are what validated his ego.
It's really my very own opinion but Yes, Dropout was Perfection and so was Registration. Graduation was OK and 808s was a different Kanye all together of course. Dark Twisted Fantasy was Weird as fukk and I've yet to listen to Yeezus without skimming through the most of it. I've also yet to give Pablo a chance.
:yeshrug:

Watch the Throne and Cruel Summer were both Flash In The Pan Albums for me and I hope Jay learned to grow up after that whole mess.

I guess I just can't understand Dropout bring close to perfection :yeshrug:
And album with all those skits and basic tracks like get em high/breathe in isn't masterpiece material imo.

At the time of it's release, it was such a different sound than everything else that was out at the time though.
