The I in Team
I listened to it again yesterday after a number of years. It just blew me away at how much more amazing it sounds to me after all these years and how much he gets on my nerves now. What a absolute beautiful body of work this album is.

Like it was the album of somebody on the verge of stardom, instead of the modern day lush bufoon drunk with success. Just somebody who was the dopest producers just being at the moment where his best sounds coincided with his best lyrics. For me it's his magnum opus.

Listened to it this morning

No doubt his best album...I'd argue it's one of the 5 best rap albums of the past 20 yrs

The production is so polished and crisp on it

The features delivered (Nas, Jay, Cam, etc...)...Rhymefest & Consequence went HAM with the bars for Ye

Loved the diverse subject matter...this album is simply a dynamic body of work

Edit:

Roses and We Major are my two fav tracks from this album

Aunt Patti & Cee-Lo killed those vocals on Roses :whew:

I'm Jesse Jackson on the balcony when King got killed :wow:

So saw a comment that said Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz "Oprah and Gayle" track sampled this song. :ohhh:

I had forgot what it sound like and realized this Top 5 song on Late Registration. Took me back when I was living in DC when this album was released.... :wow:
