Reading this entire thread, is reminding me of the NBA today. Maybe because the mega super stars came in at a time when social media hadn't yet replaced reality stars or the fact that tik tok and Spotify has replaced radio. But this list kind of a sad state affairs of the culture. Kendrick is probably the last Hip Hop mega star there is. Has all the accolades, skills, and real talent.

I have no clue what an 18 year old thinks of him, or the others from his era. Othe than they grew up with their music, and that's what their moms played in the car on the way to work. This whole game is being propped by millenials and older Gen Zers. Makes me wonder where this whole landscape will be in 5 years when they're all officially past 40 (K, Drake, Cole)
