If this previous battle has taught us anything its that anybody can get it at anytime, ain’t no friends in rap except amongst crews, and looking at whats going on with ASAP right now thats not even guaranteed.

But trust the day will come when someone with some cultural cache will try him, and he’ll have to handle business again. Its the nature of the genre. Usually the top tier mainstream rappers battle at least twice before its all said and done. Nas had to handle challenges from Cam and 50 after he spanked Jay, and this is with both of them being huge fans of his. Jay had to have his little spat with Cam & Jim Jones. Common had to have a little tiff with Drake even though he spanked Cube. And so on and so forth.

I have a inkling that a battle between Lupe and Kendrick wouldn’t be “friendly” at all. Lupe has some unresolved resentment towards Kendrick he doesn’t like to admit but that shyt would come pouring ALLLLLL out if they ever got into it. And i’m SURE Kendrick’s heard the potshots Lupe’s taken at him throughout the years.


That shyt would be epic but make no mistake there WOULD be mudslinging.
