I wouldn't conflate the two. Punk was anti-establishment. Hip hop is the establishment. Wearing a swastika is a big deal. They even got in Prince Harry's butt for wearing one. Jews don't play with their image. Since they run media they made a big deal out it is. Wearing the confederate flag is whatever worthy to the white people who run the media. Jews and those northern whites weren't lynched and they definitely don't care if someone is racist towards black people, especially when a black person is the one doing it.
