Genuinely surprised. I was 76% Williamson 75% Stein 69% Harris and 50% Trump. Can’t believe RFK was in front by that muchAs I was considering voting for West, this test has me looking at him funny style.

Not only that, but the people who are largely in control of the home supply have no incentive to fix the issues because it goes directly against their own economic interests. Why build more houses when they can price gauge everyone and create demand by ensuring there is a short supply of them.
It gets even more bleak when you realize these investors buying these homes are in the pockets of these politicians which also make it less of an incentive for them to fix housing
Because those landlords are holding their properties hostage. They would rather keep it empty instead of affordable. If we can't force them to rent/sell those homes/apartments we have no choice but to build more.

I agree with both sides on certain things. It's probably somewhat skewed because I'm staunchly anti illegal immigration. I put that as the biggest issue of what was available.Sounds like you're a moderate Republican

You remember the great recession he adopted? How do you think he handled that? The bright spot. Unless you were rainbow squad or a bailout recipient, his reign was trash.
corporations/VCs, zoning laws and NIMBY definitely fukked the housing market up. i'm in the bay area and there's a few upper class cities that have blocked construction of affordable housing complexes. it was covered on the local news and it's ridiculous the length these yuppies will go to prevent homes for low income families in their cities. The housing one is important but difficult.
More construction keeps housing prices more competitive because it increases supply. But a lot of people oppose it because of NIMBYism and their own greed about their property values.
This is something that people will need to get over. I hope Kamala...or any politician at any level, can find an effective way to explain this to the public.
