I listened to One Thing Pod by CNN on this very subject. The Latina Prof said that part of it was some Reggaeton people came out for Trump for some reason but the real answer is that as Latinos move to certain areas they adopt local politics and culture. You if Puerto Ricans move to democratic areas they lean left and if they move to red states they lean right.
She also acknowledged that as citizens there legal situation is straight so they don't really care about people coming behind them.

Which leads to my final point Latinos already here know that they won't be deported like that.

So even if Trump locks the border the ones already here and they're families trying to get in are good.
