So what I'm gathering is that Democrats are afraid to give black people anything of substance or to even discuss and policies that will empower black people because they are afraid to lose votes from other demographics as well as trigger the Republicans from stopping them.
I really hope they have more cajones than that because so many people are really hoping for change that would be a huge letdown

I made an assumption about reparations, so I’ll speak more generally. But my point is really that if you think things that aren’t even specifically for black people don’t have a chance to pass, does it make sense to criticize a politician for not being willing to present “black only” agendas? Black only policies would clearly be more difficult to pass than anything she’s presented thus far. It’s just sounds kind of contradictory
Contradictory for who? :russ: I never said anything about reparations or criticized Kamala, just stating the obvious that half the shyt talked about during a campaign will never happen. I said that was "par for course" for campaign promises, meaning it's not specific to her or anything

that being said I do think it's some value in at least TALKING like you want to do something specific for black people if only to begin to normalize it as an acceptable political strategy. In the same way it was good to at least start the convo on medicare for all and free college even those neither of those things were going to actually happen. Right now Dems feel like they can't even risk doing that when it comes to black issues

what policy do you envision for black folks that if passed wouldn't immediately trigger a lawsuit by republicans and conservative organizations and appealed to the supreme court so it can be ruled unconstitutional?

have you been paying attention to the black farmers relief program or any policy/program thats specifically designed to benefit black people?

I'm not saying your demands aren't without merit or anything like that, i'm saying there's more than one way to skin a cat.

jill stin is a russian stooge

Agenda-"1. a list or outline of things to be considered or done; agendas of faculty meetings. 2. an underlying often ideological plan or program; a political agenda."

But yall can keep pretending that politicians only run on things they know can be passed RIGHT NOW:mjlol:

How about some policy black people can look foward to since you want us to vote for you for the next 20 years with nothing tangible. Because of course "We cant do shyt because of the courts:francis:".

Well you havent told me what you would do for black people if you had the damn court. So I am forced to assume the answer is not a damn thing. Nice try attempting to dangle that carrot.

Coli Democrats-"Just keep voting harder for the next 20-30 years in every election ,and I promise they got us:mjgrin:"

Looks like a line has been officially drawn in the sand,as the sand in the hour glass runs out of time.

Well,we hope Esmerelda and Englacias do their grande uno at the polls this November:respect:

Her presidency will be like Biden's. If you stay out of debt you’ll be fine.
Not if you work in tech. She's already sponsored a bill to abolish the per country cap on work visas from India. Our tech job market is gonna look like Canada's. I'm just glad I made more than enough money to walk away from tech.

Glad they finally put something out. This isn't even that sophisticated so it baffles me why it took them this long to post it as a lot of it is rehashed Biden agenda items. People was really pissed at folks asking the campaign to put out an agenda as if it is completely unheard of for a candidate to do so even in this special circumstance.

not sure why people acted like she was going off the reservation or didn't know what she was about. just look at her previous policy proposals and voting record. the fuss about policy wasn't genuine when her opponent has no coherent policy he can stump with.

How is it not genuine when it's coming from her constituency? Besides that how can you say Trump has no agenda and then complain about project 2025?

Does it really matter with a month and a half left? They WONT be passing a damn thing due to campaigning.

But with the fact they could literally lose control of everything and have a Republican trifecta? You would think they would have a little more urgency to get black people to the polls:respect:. By simply telling us what you COULD POTENTIALLY do if you had control of all facets. But according to yall, they love and respect black people too much to make promises they cant keep.

No,not black people, Save the lies, promises and hope for the less loyal voter bases

Trump lowkey had policy that I felt would benefit black people more than these as a whole. Unless of course you choose to project with Project 2025 and assume the worst. Which of course you cant completely rule out. And no,you shouldnt vote for Trump on principle if I have to add that disclaimer. All Im saying is , if this Kamala agenda is us "winning",then we cant lose:respect:#WinWin

Probably had to make sure none of these policies piss off any donors. Neither party does anything they promise anyway.
