Kamala just showed that she's out of touch with black people. My guess is that she thinks the color of her skin will allow her to tap into that black vote. I don't know man. It is all about perception, need to get it out of the public's head that black people's priorities are 'church, dance, turn up' thus to get the black vote you need to appeal to that.

People dont realize how precious the power of having political parties fighting over you is. No one gives a singular fukk about Indians, Chinese or other Asian agendas or getting their vote. Black people have the opportunity and the politicians appeal to nonsensical stupidity, just to get the foot in the door. There is also a limited time window because the Latino vote will gain more and more importance.

I do think there maybe something we can do to rectify this. I dont have the answer though. The world in general needs a cultural shift.

The Democrats need Beto to run.

Kamala and Warren will not beat Trump or the Republican nominee. Beto comes across as genuine, articulate, and doesn't have the same skeletons in the closet (that we know of) that the current candidates have. Many people vote based on who they "like" as a person for the nomination, and vote for charisma. He has far more of that than any of the potential nominees so far.
