Why are you checking the front page of Fox News? :bpmjpls:
Some of us check as many news sources as possible and then form a balanced opinion afterwards

And then there are other so called black people that want to limit the amount of info that other black people receive, attempting to keep them ignorant about what other groups are saying about them:mjpls:

She isn’t going to win the primaries. She lacks charisma, she is a yellow bone Hillary, and look at the lies she keeps catching herself in. The backlash from the black community against her and Booker tells me they ain’t gonna last in the primaries. They both are bootleg Obamas. They lack his charisma and are not great orators like him.

Yep.

I really want to see another breh/brehette in the Oval Office, but I'm not sure Booker and Harris have "it"......whatever "it" is. Obama (especially having Michelle on his arm) was black enough to make us feel comfortable voting for him BUT he grew up with Midwestern/regular white family so he knew how to speak their language and appeal to them too. We haven't had a lot of politicians that could speak to a church full of southern black folks and a room full of mayonnaise white folks and actually do well in both arenas...maybe Bill Clinton at his peak. Big issue for Kamala is I don't know who her strongest constituency is. Doesn't feel like she really has black folks on lock. Super progressive whites are still pulling for Bernie or someone like him. Centrist whites would probably rather see Joe Biden at the top of the ticket. Latinos/Asians are always going to be hard for a black politician because they'll hold us to a higher standard than a white politician.

Booker? I get the feeling he's got some skeletons that will magically appear if he starts looking like the favorite.

This is embarrassing. So, to pander to or appeal to black voters, its not important to mention or emphasize policy or laws. But go on TBC and talk Hip-Hop and Weed? Embarrassing. This is why these political groups dont take black people seriously, they think we are mentally incapable of caring or have higher priorities than dancing and partying. Same reason I cringe whenever I see a politician dancing with black folks as if to pass some litmus test of 'cool' or them being down.

We need to change this image of ourselves.

I dont know if the media is to blame or its ourselves or both. But if this doesn't change progress can't be made.

@PhonZhi stay being right about modern Hip-Hop and its culture, its run its course.

Typical pander bullshyt like that will appeal to the community and pacify our "innate" to want to forever be on some turn up shyt and never serious about a fukking thing. So what if this bytch smokes weed. What the fukk does that have to do with police misconduct in the hood, education reform or Flint water. Because if the only criteria to take a candidate serious is their drug use then why dont we look locally to some fukking crackheads and get their opinions on congestion pricing in large cities or how we can get the ball rolling with fixing up our nation's crumbling highway infrastructure.

bytch is such a damn joke. You think a newcomer like AOC is out here talking about how she used to pop E pills when she was 19? Hell no, she is making the kind of noise that has the establishment :gucci: regardless of how outlandish her 70% tax proposal on the "rich" seems.

And ironically enough, with Ms. Harris' track record, someone like Pac, who was fukking 15 years old when she claimed to smoke to his music, would have zero issue tossing her to the bushes. She can get all the way the fukk outta here with this Hillary 2.0 pander bullshyt. Let me guess what comes next: a butter biscuit reprise dance with Roland Martin.

2020 already shaping up to be the shytshow we all knew it would. Enjoy

Democrats are pathetic

" Ya'll know back in college I was listening to that snoopy d.o. double gizzy while I was smoking that weed" then after that, I went and shot hoops with Kyrie Irving we talked about him possibly coming to the Lakers with the kang, then we had some chicken wings with hot sauce.

Good points, but it's not really about us.

From blackface, to Amos-N-Andy etc., no matter how we act, how intelligent we are and how we conduct ourselves, "they" will always try to tarnish our image...even if we didn't help them.

Kamala just showed that she's out of touch with black people. My guess is that she thinks the color of her skin will allow her to tap into that black vote. KH needs some HBCU-educated consultants to help craft her message because right now, I think she's trying to do it solo..........and it ain't working. It's like a class you think is easy in college, so you skip it. Then the first exam hits and you get a D. She's got talent for politics, but she will need to spend a lot more time studying black folks.

Obama got a big lift having Michelle Obama on his arm. Would Obama have won if his wife was white? Is it possible that Kamala won't have any issues despite having a white husband?
