in the scheme with rose, and the playing style needed for success, with rose there.
now rose is not there,..i see butler getting more tick.
as he does not have a combo guard like miles or lucas playing both guard positions depth wise ahead of him.
he should gdt minutes as a defensive stopper and show mettle as a sometime all around scorer.

when it comes to teague,...i think he will ramp up and become the starter over captain jerk.
as he has shown he needs time to adjust because of youth.
yet he has the it dynamic.
if he gets comfortability given adequate time to pass and fail, like his history connotates.
which will happen at pg since rose is out.
i think you are looking at thibs as a coach from a half full perspective.
not from the perspective of a full excercised ball iq enriched coach.
who needs to and has shown he prepares unlikely players to execute.
i think that quality will prepare butler and teague.
to give a higher level of execution than lucas and miles just supplied in a shortened season.
as teague and butler have a higher pedigree and it factor, than miles and lucas.
i expect surprises by science.
similiar to what miles and lucas supplied in rose's absences last season.
especially since those looks were hidden pretty well when fully staffed just minus rose.
