This is what im saying. Bulls lost their entire bench and their one star player. Thats a lot to overcome.

cj basically got replaced with kirk hinrich. thats lateral, although i think kirk will play better defense in thibs system than cj did. cj defense went to shyt the end of last season.
korver got replaced with vlad and marco bellinelli. again another wash move, but its not a step down and marco actually has a bit more offensive skill than korver. and maybe marco can hit a damn shot in the playoffs whereas korver shot continued to go to shyt in the offs
brewer is getting replaced by jimmy butler, who did make the summer league all star team, plays defense like him but has better offensive skills including a great rate at getting to the line.
john lucas was def upgraded by nate robinson
our biggest loss will be losing asik, a good asset for nothing. his defense with our 2nd unit will be missed. and its only being replaced with nazr muhammed, who has shaped up but i doubt will be as good defensively. but again in thibs system who knows.
so at worst we will be the same team as last year that didnt play with rose for most of the season. that team still clocked a lot of wins. so as long as the bulls are hovering around the 6th-8th seed by feburary when rose gets back, and rose will get stronger come march/april, we could climb up some seeds seeing as march and april is normally our easiest months we could move up to 5th seed even fight to get into the top 4. then in the offs lets roll the dice and hope to get lucky. what we would have on our side is rose will have fresh legs and if we can get into the 2nd rd, rose by then would have regained his full form and trust in his knee. so who knows what can happen.
The bulls are done this year brehs...I thought this was common knowledge

only thing you are doing is what all the hawks fans are doing, praying that the bulls will stink so it bolster the chances of the nets getting into the playoffs.
you sound ridiculous trying to tell bulls fans how losing brewer, lucas, korver, cj and asik will make the bulls a lottery team when they have been replaced with at worst their equal counterparts. and at best slight upgrades.
the bulls played most of last season without rose and still hung the best record in the league up. most of that was def not cj, korver, lucas brewer and asik balling out of control and carrying the team dude. you sound clueless to what the bulls are really about.
its thibs defense, plus rebounding sprinkled with a good motion offense. that hasnt left. bulls will be in the playoffs dude, worry about the nets.

everything that could have went wrong last season did.
personally i like jvg coming out like this and making great locker room material for the players.
but thibs system will get us into the playoffs. will we make noise idk but its a good enough coaching system to at least get us into the offs.

Nets right now are a top 5 team in the east easy. Talmbout chances of getting in the playoffs. I'll take my squad against yours with Rose. You had proven bench players and are banking on Marco Bellinelli who's never played in a big game in the NBA and a bunch of rookies. How do you know they are as good as the guys they let go? Teague? Butler?
Im not hating on the Bulls I dont care about them like that. Its just common knowledge that almost all of the contenders in the east have added pieces while your's is rebuilding. keep

secondly i mentioned how all the pieces got replaced with at minimum their counterparts and somehow out of that you saying we banking on marco belineli? who wont even be starting? and besides teague who is the rookies?
then you totally glossed over the additions of kirk and nate who you could argue are upgrades to cj and john lucas. butler is a upgrade offensively over brewer and he in his 2nd season and i mentioned how he was selected to the summer league all star game meaning his game is growing.
the only thing we would be missing is asik defense off the bench and more minutes from taj can clean that up. again you are reaching in hopes that it opens a slot for the nets. just stop it.
