I think it's cause non-blacks tend to be black culture dikk riders, but pig skins (whites) will do it, then claim their race invented it.

I think people are mad, because all whites seem to do is steal other people's culture, make it "un-cool" then say "we invented it. we invented everything." And they subliminally force that message in the media. Hell, most whites think they run the world, despite their country being piss poor and living off china's loans, despite most people having a higher college enrollment rate, despite asians having a higher income average, despite the fact that most whites are typically dead-end job, uneducated and try to cling to a small group of elite whites who share nothing with them.

I, for one, don't care about braids. But the tendencies that whites have with culture robbing, claiming they invented it, then claiming no one else invented anything when nearly all white "inventions" are just derivatives of another race's culture is the disturbing part. It's a never ending cycle.

People can be quite particular about hair.

There's probably more outrage over cornrows and dreadlocks than say...Native American braids.

But whatever. I mean this is the generation where people invent things to be offended about.
