All of what she said about him can be true. What is also true is that he is at the forefront in harming Black people and the US Democracy. There are always multifaceted sides to someone's personality. He may very well know the names of everyone and is nice to all of the people working at the Supreme Court, but that does not negate all of the evil he has contributed to while being in his positions of power.

Well put. There's a disconnect between the impact of their decisions. I can only imagine someone judging Hitler not by his actions but whether he remembered his staffs' names and whether their family members were doing well. Not hating him personally and even going out of her way to shower praise on him at a time when He's under public scrutiny to resign or recuse himself
speaks volume. She is clearly acting as a prop for Thomas. Brushing it aside as no big deal is foolish

The work required to become a supreme court justice requires so much work that they are don't have time to read about other people's opinions or current events that are not related to their jobs.
