Took out the guardians and the green lantern corps as well. Taking on apokalips head on is suicide

That's not Superman class. Flash maybe because he's faster than Superman. But the others? Nah. Aquaman maybe, though. Actually, nope. Not even him. He got fileted off the top.

This was a really dope film but just once I mean one time I would like to see Superman unleash his full potential on Darkseid and speedblitz that bytch.

Entertaining movie. Yeah, it relied heavily on gore and shock value, but it was entertaining and made sense for the most part.
And no, there are no other Superman-class heroes on the JLA, at least not in this movie. Superman was clearly above the others
I did have some issues, though.
One, Oa being turned into fodder for Darkseid. I understand the need to establish Darkseid's threat level beyond his army of Parademons/dooms, but him washing Oa solo was a bit farfetched. Earth's magma destroying the Central Power Battery, even more so.
Also, where were the rest of the 4th World cast? Trigon alluded to the others when he was whooping Darkseid's ass, but have any of the others turned up in these movies? In every movie that I've seen, it has just been Darkseid and the Parademons. I'm trying to remember if Desaad showed up in Reign of the Supermen.
Also, I find it hard to believe that Batman didn't sniff out the possibility that Darkseid was using the tech in Cyborg to spy on them.

Yeah, I'm still around. A shame to see what became of the IC after those upgrades. Herochat is also a graveyard.
As far as Darkseid being greater than Thanos; I don't see it, at least not from this movie. Darkseid, while ruthless and cruel, essentially accomplished a watered down version of what Thanos did in the Thanos Wins story by Donny Cates. Only difference is that Thanos didn't need one-sided prep time and a genetically engineered army of rabid super weapons to conquer Earth and there wasn't any resistance left once he was finished.

Thanos is the only one of his kind. Darkseid is part of a whole pantheon of gods. His equal is Highfather. Darkseid doesn't even exist in the mortal realm like Thanos does. So Darkseid, if he really wanted to, could crush Thanos anytime.

I'm well aware of Kirby's Fourth World and its characters. Outside of Grant Morrison, the New God's are written as very powerful, extra dimensional beings, who while formidable, can be physically overpowered and even killed with sufficient force. They are very much akin to Marvel's Asgardians in many ways (which makes sense, considering that Kirby envisioned them as a new generation or continuation of gods like the Asgardians or Olympians, hence New Gods).
The only version of Darkseid that is beating Thanos is the one from Final Crisis (True Form, not the Dan Turpin Avatar) , but the metaphysical interpretation of the New Gods is pretty much ignored by every writer not named Grant Morrison.

The non-canon Great Darkness Saga. And I'll amend what I said; no version of Darkseid written since 1986 outside of a Grant Morrison story is effortlessly beating Thanos, as I don't think that regular Thanos can match the version how took out the Anti-Monitor during the Crisis, either.
