Yea i downloaded the app to follow whatever it tells me to do

And i think you’re right. I stand shoulder width my toes pointed out slightly. Keeping it straight doesn’t feel comfortable and it prevents me from going ATG. I just really started feeling it tho

shoulder width is good, maybe you can stand a little wider that might alleviate pressure from your knees. toe pointing works with whatever your comfortable with, no fixed rule. yeah obviously depth as well. as long as you are hitting parallel at the bare minimum, you don't need to go ATG.

Start of week 8..banged out 150 lb squat, 95 lb bench press and 115 lb barbell row

Oddly enough squats didn’t feel that bad compared to Saturday but right now my left knee feels really funny. I didn’t start feeling like this until recently

I'm just gonna put my numbers here for reference so that when I go back to the 5x5 I have results to improve on:

squat - 209 lbs (95kg)
barbell row - 110 lbs (50kg)
overhead press - 99 lbs (45kg)
deadlift - 243 lbs (110kg)
bench press - 176 lbs (80kg)

don't overdo it, especially with exercises that put pressure on the knee

i had a bad right shoulder so i stopped benching for a while

I woke up still feeling the same. Hopefully my knee feels better by tomorrow. If not i might just have to sit this week out

Work on your form. Don’t let your knee go forward as you descend. May have to adjust your feet width. Let the bar rest in the middle of your traps not the top. Don’t forget to breath.

I messed my knee up back in 10 with bad form and too much weight.

I’m 100% now from doing things the right way. Plus adding running really helped for some reason. Feels like my legs get fully used.

Do you guys agree with his methodology?

I shouldn’t have attempted to try to squat today now my left knee hurts like a bytch to the point I’m noticeably limping. I’m tryna hold back tears and waiting for my girl to come take care of me

Haven’t done squats in a year. Gonna have to start back slow with 35lbs on each side. Don’t wanna break anything

Squats get easier as you go not harder. You start to get the explosive power. Dont fear it getting low and blowing up

Im.ending week 4. Glad to be handling 45s again
45 on each side? How many plates of 45

4 weeks in, 80kg on the Squat and gonna stay there for a lil min, feel like ive gon up too fast, too soon. 67.5 on the bench, 52.5 row, 47.5 ohp and 80 on the deadlift:ehh: . Noticeable gains in chest and arms, shoulders might've gained to but hard to gauge. Gonna be hard to counter balance when i go back to boxing and what is you brehs diet looking like though and is 'yall' doing more chest work.

Try to add dips to your workout. Has done wonders for me.

I'm taking a break from squats. I keep reaggravating my lower back injury cause theres not enough rest time so I'm just gonna stop doing it for a bit.

What's your physique like?

I'm about 6 feet, quite lean but wide shoulders and long limbs. Pretty well rounded physique but leg dominant for sure.

I actually think since posting this my squat has fallen but barbell, overhead and deadlift may have increased. Not sure about bench, been doing dumbbell presses lately.
