I'm lifting to stay/get in shape and to work on building muscles, power lifting 2*3 times your body weight and risking hurting yourself is just pointless, fukk is dead lifting 500 pounds gonna get me but a fukked up back when I get older :camby:

Deadlifting 2x your bodyweight is one thing, deadlifting 3x your bodyweight is well into savage territory.

You are right generally :manny: you don't need to deadlift that heavy to benefit from it. If you are smart you will not injure yourself though.

I been lifting heavy all my life off and on holmes, never been injured. Maybe if you little nikkas did the weight yo were supposed to do with proper form instead of trying to cheat and doing more than you can handle none of y'all be cryin.
