...I read the 1st couple of pages and why yal referring to the strippers kid as a boy? I'm pretty sure it was a girl, and Old Joe made it clear that he didn't know if "The Rainwater" was male or female when he was talking Young Joe in the diner.
Only thing that was sketchy to me is the actual diner scene. When the goons came through, why didn't they just kill Young Joe and end all the madness? That didn't make sense to me, but other than that... The shyt was piff

I'm not talking about them killing the Rainmaker breh, I'm talking about the diner scene with Y. Joe and O. Joe... The goons come in guns blazing, and Y. Joe starts bucking shots at O. Joe with them. I found it odd that no one just started shooting at dude when he was out in the open like that.

Saw it earlier this morning. shyt was pretty ill. 9/10.
They blue fukk up kid stated that they still needed young joe alive. I think it was mentioned that killing the Loopers while they were young could still change the future, say they didn't opt to do it that way if they didn't have to.
Well that contradicts what happens in the movie to his friend who they obviously kill, or if they didn't kill obviously changed his future by fukking him up beyond recognition.
In addition to that, when Joe told the guy at the farm that he was planning on killing his future self and making right with Abe and just moving on, dude just laughed at him. He told him that as long as Abe had gatmen working for him he would be hunting him down and that he couldn't make good with anybody.

I think the director was conveying the message of how important parenting is in deciding the future of inherently good natured children, if you look at serial killers, child molestors etc their problems always go back to childhood and their parents not raising them correctly
great movie, i could see a tv series resulting from this revolving around different loopers while charting the rainmakers rise
