When you have watched the films that influenced Kill Bill Vol 1 you leave the film kinda disappointed.

Watch Lone Wolf and Cub movies with them slaying a hundred samurai. Or a Sonny Chiba movie. Or a Zatoichi flick. Or The Savage Five, how about the One Armed Swordsman. Or the 36 Chambers.

And some of these cats were in Kill Bill. I don't 100% agree with OP but I see his point.
