That rolie looks old and lame. If its between those two if go the omega.

But if i were u i would shop more. Whats ur price range?
I'm in the 5k range.

I like the Explorer because it is simple and lowkey. I already have a Rolex that I can't really wear daily because it's a little too flashy, so Explorer would be a great everyday watch. One negative is that it doesn't have a date.

I also had my eye on this but it's above 5k and also not something you can wear daily

Check for the datejust 2's. Low key everyday wear...i think they are in the high 5 or 6 range maybe?

Datejust 2 blue dial with a fluted bezel is amazing, but I don't wear gold. But then after you see the fluted bezel DJ, regular one is just not the same.
Any watch collectors here fukk with any vintage mechanicals?
I've stumbled across a few nice ones as filler pieces to wear sometimes.
I've got a 1970's chronograph and it's one of my favorite watches. There are some great looking Heuer knockoff brands from 70s and there are a lot of good Omega and Longines vintage watches for a great price.

Just be aware that most of them are very small, around 36mm, so if you have a big wrist it's a no go. Also if you go for the more expensive ones make sure they are authentic (from a reliable seller), there are a lot fake, refinished or Frankenstein vintage watches out there.

Nice. I own an early 70s Omega Constellation Chronometer that I lucked up on cheap at an estate sale and I also have a 1938 Hamilton Linwood with 14k gold curved case-No scratches on gold case and slight aging on the dial for a watch so old.
For me unless an old watch looks too small, I won't necessarily wear unless its just a name brand or look i cant ignore.
34mm is my limit depending on the case for antique models.
Vintage pieces were just smaller then:francis:

Update, I ordered the Zeppelin from Amazon but despite falling in love with it when looking at pics/videos I wasn't feeling it when it arrived. I returned it and bought an Orient Bambino, less than half the price and looks great in person. Very clean watch, supports hand winding and hacking too. Pic:

I'm in the UK and couldn't find a stockist here, so I bought it from Serious Watches in the Netherlands for €179 (about £158 in my local currency), Direct Link.

If you are in the US, it is available from Long Island Watch, Direct Link to this model. Make sure to search for "Bambino" on the site to get a look at all the various designs, some of the others are also very appealing.

Brehs thinking of copping this as a casual watch brehs

Rolex Sub is a Rolex sub but I prefer the Matte Finish on this one.

Thoughts?

Have always had a penchant for Rolex's little brother. Tudor's simple, yet different styles are :wow:.

If you got it, then I say do it.:whew:

I'm not a Tudor guy but that's a good look and it has a 70 hour power reserve. I like a lot more than the black bay.
