You can get way better watches for 18k.

Rolex Daytona, Yachtmaster, GMT
AP Royal Oak
Patek Aquanaut

Tiffany-Co-CT60-Chronograph-Annual-Calendar-gold-1.jpg

Tiffany & Co CT 60

18K case
Black soleil dial
Black alligator strap
Poudre (gold powder) in the numerals
Swiss made
100 m water resistant

This'll set you back $19K but I think I want it :banderas:

CT60 has movements from the best Swiss manufacturers like Sellita (crafts for IWC & Zenith), La Joux Perret (crafts for Hublot & IWC) and Dubois-Despraz (crafts for Audemars and Bulgari) so from a quality perspective it's right there with what you listed IMO

Even tho the watch movements are different Patek and Tiffany are cobranded. Not a big fan of Aquanauts (I like Calatrava's way more)

I'm meh on AP...I don't want that gaudy of a watch

I'm open to Rolex...IDK anything about Yachtmaster or GMT.

The CT60 has watches that start at just under 5K so I'm thinkin I'll start there if I get one

For that type of money I'm only dealing with in-house movement.

Them APs are over the top but the 15400 reference is dope and modest.

All nikkas know about Rolex are Datejust n President but it's a lot more over there. Daytonas, GMTs and Explorer are nice subtle Rolexes that only people that know about watches would notice.

I fukks with IWC, JLC and Omegas too.

Just picked up this Tudor Black Bay homage last week. Love the sterile face, snowflake hour hand and its overall simplicity. Looking for a hearty, padded leather strap.

So I upgraded the strap (dark brown with white stitching) and cleaned her up a bit. Thoughts?

Brehs, I received a Skagen watch from a friend as a gift, never heard of skagen so I didn't think much of it, than I looked it up online and their watches are in the $100-$200 range, anybody ever heard of this brand? Are they good? Says they are danish watches but I googled it and also heard hey are made by Fossil, so idk.

:dwillhuh:

What's the problem beh?

GOAT company, great watch and they've got models that start at under 5K. The watch I posted is on the high end but it's a great time piece. It's a lot nicer than some of the other watches that have been posted here

Don't do that to yourself brehski. Tiffany is a jewelry company/store not a watchmaker to spend 5k and above on. If you want to spend that type of money then go with Cartier which is a jewelery company and an amazing watchmaker.

That Tiffany you posted does have a clean look, but it has a has modified Sellita movement (mass produced movement/mechanism, not exclusive to one watch maker) inside of it. Not a very original design, not a strong brand name in watch industry, no amazing watchmaking heritage. When you go into that price range you should not have to make that many compromises.

If you still don't mind all of that, then you would be better of with a Montblanc (luxury company that sells pens, cologne, wallets, jewelery, watches). You can find a used Montblanc on the second hand market with more complications for a good price. Because watches from these type of brands do not hold value.

But you would be even better off just getting yourself a clean looking Hamilton for a lot less money.
