Nah this aint a reach. Go back and look at a lot of those 80s movies there were a lot of moments and concepts that totally shytted on black people and other people of color. Now I love those movies but hell Revenge of The Nerds had a rape scene in it that they made funny.

Yeah and that’s the most obvious one but it depends on how you want to look at it. You can say “hey a white guy invented rock and inspired chuck berry” or you can say “this kids dream is to be a musician and he now gets to invent the genre he loves” and neither read of it is wrong.
