But Marty got it from him, so essentially it's a paradox. Y'all really do be reaching.

Hill Valley was always a shytty town. Damn near everyone who lived there lived just above poverty. McFly's weren't that good off, and it being the same house really means they were a bit cleaner. Even the development Hill Dale was shytty almost 30 years later.

Y'all really do be reaching. What I love about 70's & 80's movies is that they were honest,, especially in the dialog. There was none of that extra sensitive ish of today.

Chuck remember that new sound you looking for .. listen to this... It was merely an inspiration for Chuck to create a new sound called rock and roll .. I never took it as Marty inventing but influencing.. just like he "influenced" Goldie to run for Mayor
