How does a cheaper cost school mean they should graduate more blacks at a higher than our elite institutes?
If u wanna use that example there's like 100's of pwi that are cheaper that do that
Georgia state actually graduates more blacks than aucs combined at a higher graduation rate
Morehouse acceptance rate is 76%
No school that notable should have an acceptance rate above 50%

They're letting any nikka in with a pulse!
If their acceptance rate were dropped to 50%, they'd probably have to close down. They wouldn't be able to haul in enough students.
Morehouse has to keep acceptance rates that high to continue to exist as an institution.
Spelman and Howard, on the other hand, have acceptance rate in the 40s.
It's had its ups and downs, but their accreditation is back on track, the energy on the campus is great and there's nothing like being a Spartan
Do you know what you're trying to study?
I'm not sure the acceptance rate is the problem here. I think the quality of students is the real indicator here. For example
1) Drexel university is a good university in Philadelphia
- Has an acceptance rate of 76 percent
- But the entry gpa for Drexel is 3.47
2) Howard University is the premier HBCU in the county, but
- Has an acceptance rate of 49 percent
- Entry GPA is 3.31
* logic says that Drexel university gets the stronger students even though it has a higher acceptance rate ( which is why it's higher on the Princeton review ranking) So if Morehouse has a high acceptance but strong applicants I think they will be alright.
Edit: I just went through morehouse.
Morehouse college
1) Entry GPA 3.01
2) acceptance rate 76 percent
that's not so bad.
In that Tariq Nasheed thread with him visiting Haiti, it seemed like the locals were more into partying/dancing/blasting music than repairing and building their county
Think Cost does not play a factor in Students Transferring brehs.
Ignore Higher Cost PWIs also have more Scholarship Money to offer students thus lessening the financial load brehs.
You're ignoring what's being said entirely.
The best university in Cleveland, and one of the best universities in the country is a school that was consolidated (CIT and Western Reserve University) into one, Case Western Reserve University.
No one is "cutting AAs in the job force" by helping sustain schools with limited enrollment, there's a reason why many HBCUs have closed in the last 30 years, or have begun admitting far more White students.
Do you actually care about the schools are you just gonna try to fly a "history" flag around.
80% of current black grads went to pwis
It's almost 90% of new grads. That's and hbcu myth they tell their grads

People like you don't even know what the mission of HBCUs are. Y'all fakkits make me sick speaking on things you don't even understand.
HBCUs reach out and give black kids a shot that other schools don't. Again this is apart of the mission of most HBCUs, this is why our graduation rates suffer.
I'll take those schools lifting a sizable number of Black people from poverty to the middle class any day of the week, than to have 1000s of Black people locked in a poverty situation with no real shot out.
I mean goodness, how do y'all not know this
