What did you think would happen? You wouldn't be in this mess if you showed regard for the laws of probability and understood that it would take one person to push your shyt in. You're teaching 10s of students, odds are at least one of them is racist or a sell out.

Growing up in Alabama myself I can tell you about how white people look at a black teacher teaching their kids sideways most of the time. Keep going though breh, you've already started down the path. Teachers and coaches move around a lot in the education profession.

This was a middle school and you essentially made a play on the name of the school to indicate that it's why it's so racially homogeneous.
Considering what you know about this Society, did you think you were planting a seed of inquiry and knowledge in them or did you think you gave them fodder for a new type of race joke about lack of blacks from the school by the cool new teacher Mr. Preacher?
I can't imagine what you think a white middle schooler in a school with no minority students is supposed to turn into when he/she is getting minstrel level comedy routine in their classroom.
I'm almost positive that as soon as you completely clean on your desk... the remaining racist administration/staff will chuckle at your joke in private and say some shyt like, "Boy Mr. Preacher was an uppity one, but he sure was funny."

If you weren't aware, he was building a case record against you with each of the 3 instances he cited. Any one of them alone, even maybe the "White plains" joke, would have been solved with a warning, but the fact he built a track record of you making racial based comments and then the joke came out, he had all the ammo he needed. He gave you enough rope to hang yourself.

Don't get carried away man. I made a mistake. Won't happen again. Was just a joke I cracked while calling the role. Should've been smarter. Its all good.
That's the thing though, the 1st 2 comments weren't racially inappropriate at all. He didn't even comment on the "german" or "mixed" comment. The white plains joke was the only one he had something to say about because after I explained myself, those first two really weren't bad.
I believe if I had only made the white plains joke, I still would've been fired. There was no "3 strikes".
