some black people dont respect other black people, and it really boils down to self hate. Had this discussion today how some black people are the greatest enforcers of white supremacy.

Since we talking about Chicago Clubs, I'm sure you heard about the black owner of a club in the Gold Coast area who got shut down because the cacs in the neighborhood kept calling the police, alderman, or whoever would listen, lying and saying it was fights and misconducts going on, ghetto people walking around, etc, even though buddy had a grown and sexy type lounge that was lowkey and dress code enforced. Last time I heard he went to court and filed against the city for wrongful termination of his business and liquor license, not sure if the club reopened.

I honestly think that business isn't black people's talent...athletics and entertainment. But not selling things...

Why did this situation help you come to this conclusion... look around the hood 90 percent of the businesses there are Asian owned.

Look at who owns hip hop, and its the Jewish

Look at how much better Telemundo is compared to say BET...

Honestly, The Shrine is probably the nicest safest black club in the City. It hosts good acts, it's in a pretty perfect area. People checking you in on the lists with ipads, good drink prices, reasonable bottle service. Security is on point, and the Cops watch the place because it's surrounded by middle class youngish people condos who would flip if nicca sh!t spilled out into the streets. Plus decent parking.and a Harolds chicken on the corner

I'm in my 30's and honestly it's the only "Club" I still even go to occasionally. All the promoters I've ever dealt with there were black if that means anything, I know one of them and he's def making money. I used to be a regular at an open Mic there and it's always seemed pretty well run. I got no beef with it being ultimately white owned. It'd be nice to have our own. But dude is catering to an EXCLUSIVELY black crowd, and doing a good job. Unfortunately in the Chi, black owned clubs that get that popular get leaned on so hard by the city for infractions they never stay open long

400 years of slavery, followed by Jim Crow got us to where we are right now psychologically as a people. Change isn't going to happen over night. As much as I hate to say it, I really do believe that the majority of black people view white people as superior. No one would ever admit it, but I think the reason we act the way that we do (the arrogance, flashiness, over sexualization) is a way of compensating and/or coping with the reality that, at least right now at this point in time, white people have won. I don't think it will stay this way, as nothing lasts forever, but the phycological damage of slavery is currently affecting us right now even still in 2015. We don't love ourselves, we don't love one another, and we continue to put whites on a pedestal. If we were as efficient at owning our culture as we were at creating it...we'd be a force to be reckoned with!!!

I'll take it a step further, the average black person believes God is a white man

Black business owner checking in. Black customers make up 3-5% of my total revenue. (Iphone Repair Company)
Could be several reasons for this.
Blacks are poorer and can't afford my services
I mainly operate in areas with low black populations
Or Blacks just don't support black businesses

So I'm working personal security at club shrine. It's a packed house full of our people, athletes and couple of other hood celebrities paying out the ass for vip and bottle service, pictures of Fela Kuti and other black icons on the walls, etc... Everybody's cool, the women are looking good, nikkas drinking and chilling but here's the catch: The owner is white as rice, there's cac cops outside yelling and talking to people like children, bartenders and management were primarily cac.

Now this isn't a dig to nikkas that want to go kick it and have fun on a Saturday night but how in the entire hell is this even possible? Could we as black people start a white themed bar / club with primarily black staff in a white area and have success? Could whites do the same with Asians or Mexicans and have success? I'm asking seriously because maybe there are other examples of this somewhere where their big spenders are cashing out spots owned by other races. Meanwhile the couple of black owned spots that do try to open up shop are closed because of regular violence or other shyt that causes them to lose their liquor license but at the white mans house we know how to act

Like I said, this isn't a dig to anyone but i see the same shyt with us in our own areas we live in. nikkas will litter and fukk up our own areas but let some blacks go live in some white areas then it's a totally different story.

How can this mentality change and what can be done about it?

Asians bring there best and brightest over here because it isn't an easy migration like it is with Mexicans plus they already have established bonds

We as black people already are here and are cool with accepting less...that's the attitude that needs to change so how do we do that on a grander scale

We can't follow others because the institutions in place aren't built to see them fail, they're built to see us fail

I think separating from white people will fix a lot of our problems. I've said it a gang of times before: it is psychologically unhealthy at this point for black people to be around white people. Once I stopped associating with cacs, all I wanted to do was surround myself with other black people and that really helped with changing my mentality on a lot of shyt.
