Better hope she don't leave your ass
otherwise you gon be real good
I doubt that, but if she does I'm at my best when my back is against the wall.

Congrats from one science graduate (biology) to another. I think about going to grad school sometimes, but I make enough money and am satisfied enough with my job to be like Plus my wife is gonna be a CPA in a couple of years. I'm enjoying and having leisure time and no debt.
both my sisters got a BS in chemistry. One is working forensics for the police and the other is back in school getting a nutrition degree.Im assuming you graduated years ago and have some sort of stability in your career. These days job prospects with just a bio or chem B.S. degree are

no worries breh. I took chem 201 and instantly knew that bullshyt wasn't for me. Plus those lab classes are awful, especially the TA's that you get. We're in Kensucky, I also heard that to get chem jobs you basically have to go out of state which may have played a factor. Yea, she prob making around 40k, the cost of living here is really low though(if you're just supporting yourself), 40k isn't bad at all really but her husband makes good money anyway.Dont take this the wrong way breh, but for the amount of work it takes to get a chem degree im not making below 60K doing forensics (im assuming, no way she makes more than that though, probably closer to 40K at best), which btw is more bio oriented and tedious as fukk running PCR all day and doing gel work. Yuck. Also, what state ya'll stay in? Georgia literally has the shyttiest job market in the country. The CDC can't hire all of us
Better than sitting home without a job! Got my bachelors degree in chemistry and now getting my masters with a focus in Medicinal Chemistry. Hopefully i'm on my way to 6 figures.
Well congratulations. But you should pursue a career that you have a genuine interest in not for the 6 figures. Otherwise you'll end up being miserable.
It went well. GPA was like 3.6-3.7. Took a couple classes this semester that had me like . I'm looking at all Bs right now. Might still be able to get a couple As after next week finals.
@newworldafro I hear you about making it work for me. Exactly what I been doing. I'm using my professors for recommendations and their facilities to learn some skills. Ill use this to get into pharmacy school, get some capital, pay off bills, then maybe one day invest in some pharmaceutical drugs or even be involved in making one
The drug game is poppin. All these research universities are all just companies using students as highly motivated free labor basically to conduct research and make breakthroughs that can be marketed or sold.
JBone4eva;4037175]I also just got accepted into a graduate program in Pathologists' Assistant Sciences, I'm also curious about the thread starters workload relative to undergrad.
Keep me updated on how your program goes as well.
@EatingGoodNow
In a lot of ways, its easier because you already know what to expect. I stayed at the same institution I got my undergrad from, but concept is the same. The biggest issue for me is time management between classes, graduate responsibilities, and lab research time. If you guys can id highly recommend doing research or a thesis for a project. Makes you so much more knowledgeable and competent in your field.
sohh nobody here has tried to apply to any medical programs(RN,MD,PT, PA, D.O.,etc)
I thought being black and having a 3.4+ GPA was practically a shoe in....
That was my plan while in college. I the premed stuff like shadowing physicians and getting clinical experience. Thats when I realized that it may not be for me. Sometimes I can see myself as a doctor then there's times when I can't. Then I also wonder if I'm about that med school life just to hate the career later on.
