Nah, the Strike Team was always
doomed with Vic being in charge he was just too damn reckless and was always attracting attention, the real leader and head of the team should have been Ronnie. Ronnie had Dutch's books, Vic's street smarts and a sense of balance, which neither Shane or Vic had, he also didn't have a conscience like Lem which meant that he was prepared to carry out the worst tasks. He was always extremely careful, something that neither Shane or Vic were.
Ron easily the best character

:damn: I just got done watching episode 8 of the last season. shyt just got real!!!!!!
Shane tries to kill Vic & Ronnie. The dude who tried to kill Ronnie tells them it was Shane behind it. Mara tells Corrine about Vic killing that cop in the series premiere & The Strike Team ripping off Armenian Money train. Shane, Mara, their kid skips town. Vic resigns.

:mindblown: How is this show getting better in it's 7th & Final season, while it's sister successor show "Sons of Anarchy" is nothing but impossible White Man GTA fukkery in it's 7th & Final season.
lol this might be the best episode of the series so far

Exactly how I feel. Great show. To me it got better every season. The first season was just alright to above average to me and there were a few slightly boring stretches. But by season 4 on each season topped the previous. My main problem was it was too much super hero top shyt involving Mackey and some of the situations he'd get into and how they just had him as a supreme bad ass.
Mackey is a supercop
that's my main gripe

how is he always 2 steps ahead of everyone lol

I feel like @east gave the correct answer to this post. Everybody had bad moments on this show. All Vic's children except one were autistic.

When he cheated on Corrine and had a baby with Danny, that proved that it was his genes that were messed up, not his wife's.

Then there was that episode when Corrine was talking to the PI, and Vic confronted them, and the PI literally threw Vic into the bushes :pachaha:

Vic actually took a lot of L's throughout the series. My first watch of the show, I saw him as nearly invincible because of everything that he got away with.

When I rewatched again, I saw how he was on the move at all times trying to keep his house of cards from falling down on itself. Dude was taking L after L and wasn't as smart as he thought he was.

Yeah, there's a lot of thinly veiled racism in the show, but to me, it's realistic because there's a lot of thinly veiled racism in America.

And yeah, Vic slept with Kavanaugh's wife, but Kavanaugh was the one who destroyed Vic and the Strike team. Everything went downhill after Kavanaugh.
how did it prove his genes were messed up
