took years but i finally did it
My Thoughts....
- Harry got to be the most sorry ass hero i've seen in to date. spend a decade in a school that teaches you how to use magic and only know 3 spells brehs
- And worst of all, this weak nikka ass nikka cuffed Ron Weasly's dusty ass lil sister. He should of gone get Hermoine, that wierd blonde chick, or even that asian chick, anything but her.
- Draco was even more sorry than Harry, I thought he was going to have a naruto vs sasuke type rivarly but all this guy was whiny cowardly wannabe lil bully. Didn't do anything gangsta, he was just a nuisance.
- Ron was and is a worthless bum, him getting them hermoine cheeks was obviously a charity gift.
- Voldermort was a decent villain, could of done more
I know this goes without saying but the books really makeup for pretty much all the criticisms you have about the movies
-Harry is more “heroic” in the books and is portrayed as a more compassionate person. You get the feeling that even without the “boy who lived” title he’d still be a pretty popular and well liked student.
-Ron is WAYYYYYYYYYYY better in the books than the movies. He’s more competent, smart, and brave. Even though he takes L’s he still gets a few legit W’s in the books so that you don’t think of him as a wasted sidekick (plus he’s funny as hell)
-The Ron/Hermione relationship is better fleshed out in the books so that you get a sense of why Hermione would be attracted to him vs Harry. It builds organically from Book 3 onwards.
-What the films got RIGHT were Snape/Dumbledore/Voldemort/Hermione and pretty much all the background characters.
catching balls ran in Harry's bloodline
so catching balls ran in Harry's bloodline
...so is ronmaybe as a student but not as a person. Harry is a good dude.
I remember Harry being pretty angry in the books, but I only ever read them once.Yup. And Harry in the books is less angry than the movies but in the movies his anger makes sense. The books do get dark but not as dark as the movies so he can be more compassionate and “heroic” on the page. The movies really hit on that theme of Voldemort and Harry being similar if not for their upbringing and the people around them
