I copped a Sony XBR-X700D 55inch 4K TV 3 weeks ago. It was on sale at Best Buy. I had a 3D LG TV that I loved. But, the screen cracked during the move to the new house
Not true. The flat E and G series have 3D also. Having my E delivered this week. I'll lwt the brehs know how I like it next week.Samsung' curve is too much, but LG's 4K OLED curve is just right. I love my curved display. Great viewing angles (which sounds unintuitive, but it's true). I can watch tv from all angles with no problems. Plus the LG curved display is the only OLED with 3D. If you're in the center, it's even better. It's more immersive I guess. But if you're getting a non-LG, I say go with a flat panel. @winb83 has a curved Samsung and I know he's said he regretted it.
Besides this what is the best TV between 1k and 1500?

Curved TVs look better than non curved. Now, like with all things, depends on the brand. But lets say same brand, just one is curved? Curved better every time. I guess the drawback is the view angle would be less than a non curved. What's the benefit of a curved tv? Best Buy had a deal on a 4k tv but it was curved. I thought that was the less desirable kind.
Clean....Not working for me.
