I rep NY teams exclusively. Anyone who doesnt root for teams of cities theyve at least lived in does not understand the true essence of being a fan. And in NY the real fans dont run away and root for other teams once their original team has a bad season or 2. Thats for females. I grew up into Mets fandom.. in the early 90s. By the time Piazza came around I had years of already, and this was as a kid! Usually kids pick the winners, huh.

Knicks/Bulls was the biggest point of contention tho, you ride for your city or you're a traitor/bandwagoner. You know half the kids those days were Bulls fans. Probably the same dudes who are Heat fans now.

Never had the inclination to support a team from "outside" ever - I guess I don't have that bandwagon gene.
