I can't stand dudes that fall in love with a man and will 
any team he goes to. Period, thats not being a fan, thats having a crush.
If you can't root for your city (if your city has a team) you aint real to me. Gotta have some loyalty and character some where.
I grew up a DIE HARD Knicks fan and even back in 3rd grade I'd say you was a fakkit if your team was the Bulls or nut hugged jordan.
I'm Brooklyn/NY all day and I'll root for anyone except the Mets.

When you get two opposing sides, esp in different conferences, shyt gets tribal. Every franchise has a different foundation and history and develops a fan base around that.
ie, ex giants (orange) and dodger (blue) fans are mostly mets fans (orange/blue) and so are their families. The Yanks have always been the rival.

I grew up in a Knicks household. Knicks all fukking day. As far as baseball, I had a affinity for the Mets because my dads job had box seats behind 3rd base at Shea. Yankees are cool, I take pride people hate us and say we buy championships. The most in sports history. I always liked the Giants and rooted for Eli whenever people said he was retarded and never be near the level of his brother. Now he got two rings and the best QB in the 4th.
