now if you rooting for a team in a series i.e wanting the tigers to beat the yankees, thats just being a fan of the sport, but understanding you not going on a whole playoff run with the team then celebrating like a fan who endured the blood sweat and tears with a team to watch them get to the top.
real fans, really enjoy the championship when they were there when they teams were 1st rd exits or worst lottery teams. then you see that team get to tops in the conference and win it all. that is when a fan can really enjoy it. not running like rerun on what's happening behind every team that is hot at the time.
