His hed game was vicious
:dead:

I really shouldnt be laughing in this thread. Was watching some shyt on Junior and it had me in tears man. That was one of my favorite players growing up. Hurt bad to see when he drove off that cliff..at the time i just thought man this dude is depressed without football..

then he successfully committed that....1500 might be a lot but i guarantee he had in the triple digits at least. yall gottta remember that someone like JR and other pro athletes have been playing since they were kids so those concussions start at like age 7. shyt is ugly.

Odd time to bump this thread but yeah, 1500 grade 1 concussions would still probably be enough to turn a nikka into a vegetable

he wouldnt even be alive...he played in less than 300 games....5 concussions a game. really.

Most NFL players played in pee wee and high school, and they get concussions too. Hell youre at a pretty elevated risk for CTE if you only play high school at that's it compared to the rest of the population.

most of yall didnt read the article

"In the 1990s, I did a concussion seminar. They said a Grade 3 concussion meant you were knocked out, and a Grade 1 meant you were seeing stars after a hit, which made me burst out in laughter," Plummer told the San Jose Mercury News. "As a middle linebacker in the NFL, if you don't have five of these (Grade 1 effects) each game, you were inactive the next game.

"Junior played for 20 years. That's five concussions a game, easily. How many in his career then? That's over 1,500 concussions. I know that's startling, but I know it's true. I had over 1,000 in my 15 years. I felt the effects of it. I felt depression going on throughout my divorce. Junior went through it with his divorce."

Ted Johnson was on the radio after Seau's death and said that in all seriousness, he thought he had hundreds.

They always referred to it as getting dinged or bell rung, and your head would hurt after, but no one thought of that as concussions.

We would get 'dinged' at least once a week in practice, and regularly in games.

He played a long time, with a lot of two a days, a lot of training camps and practices.

Cold be possible.

real spit.

i think alot of us that got into fights and stuff, may have had concussions and just didnt know it.

hell, thinking about it now, i think i had my 1st concussion in 5th grade after a rock fight. i just waited a week or so and let that chit heal. somebody came off a hill & dropped one of those big huge brick rocks on my head. you know the type of joints that take 2 hands to lift & carry.

What a exaggeration

He probably had 50 concussions
not at all. he had probably 50 per season. but like one or two that were the falling over looking punch drunk kind. back in the day they'd talk about "mild concussions" but after awhile it was outed that theres no such thing. you are essentially getting concussed every play especially O and D lineman...and guys like Seau or Polamalu probably got like 5 to 10 concussions per game at least.

now if he had 1500 falling over unable to stand concussions he woulda died on the field.

Who bumped this old ass thread?
Me. We must never forget Junior Seau breh :sadbron:

Actually i watched 2 docs on concussions and did a search and saw that crazy 1500 figure.
