It's funny too because this is what I thought we were gonna do last offseason, follow the KC model of stockpiling the secondary with a bunch of rookie contracts while paying big money on the offensive side.

I can't monday morning QB it either because I was happy with Slay and JB coming back on team friendly deals, but I'm glad Howie isn't letting those contracts stop him from getting back to what the plan should've been.
