I got two months roughly to get me myself ready again.

Last year I ran it in 1:07 and some change. I didn't have a qualifying time so I was at the back of the race and you can give up on trying to run speed at that point. I think I had to walk easily the first 1/2 mile just to get separation to jog. Overall I took it easy and didn't push to hard, all of the dodging people walking killed the competitiveness.

New year, no excuses I think shaving 7 minutes is realistic.

This month I'm focusing on sprints and general cardio (still lifting) and I will really get into prolonged running in June. I've been tied up with work so I need a few weeks to get back up to speed.

Are you eating clean and staying w/i macros or just continuing to focus on macros?

The last two weeks have been :scusthov:

For the next the next month it will be clean. About two weeks out from the race I won't really eat at deficit just to have enough in the tank to really push it.

I feel you on the past two weeks. I've fallen back into the habit of eating bad food when stressed. Ugh.

Well good luck with the race! I know you'll make it under an hour.

First of all :salute:

Second why not eat dirty, even half of that will be good for like 500-600 calories I think. I mean not all dirty but just the excess

I hear you and generally speaking clean/dirty doesn't really matter. I actually don't like "dirty food" much anymore, the taste for it is basically gone for me.

:whoa:, dessert is another matter. I have to get under control so my punishment must be more severe

do you take your phone with you? many of them dont so we have a meet up point.

I didn't last year because its to bulky. I doubt I will this year as well.

I met family in Piedmont Park but that walk back to MARTA had us. I need to start brainstorming an alternative.

3 x 100 rope revolutions to warm-up:

Flat Bench
Rear Delt Machine
Incline Dumbbell Press
Shrugs
Chest Fly Machine
Seat Dumbbell press
Plate Shoulder Raises

5 minutes of rope intervals (1 min on, 30 second rest)

Felt good

Sprints tomorrow morning
