:why:

Really dude? Knocking me 10 points with the comment "Slap yourself"? Is that really necessary?

We later clarified that I was only talking about their post games. And I conceded that I was not clear in my initial comment.

It was an ignorant comment and I didn't wait to read down. :yeshrug:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I just dont like Jared Sullinger being the foundation, that the original posted I quoted made.

Brandon Bass with more upside, maybe.

Anthony Mason with more athleticism and upside, maybe.

Hell, even Clarence Weatherspoon with more athleticism and upside, maybe.

Jared Sullinger? His foundation is more similar to David West's imo.

Nah, Sully is trending towards Kevin Love lite right now, he's taking 3s which is something West never does.

Mitch said that Randle was highly rated on his board. I think he was going to take him 3rd after wiggins and embiid regardless.
Exum and Parker were both rated higher than Randle on the Lakers board. Mitch confirmed as much after the draft.

Yeah I forgot those two.So Randle was 5th on the Lakers board. I think he was surprised the Celtics didn't take him. Their lost though.

can't wait till he starts making jumpers, that will improve his game a lot

this. his first step is so lethal. he blows by dudes right now even though they give him 5 feet of cushion. once he gets a 18 foot jumper to go with his game right now, he's gonna be unstopable.

its incredible how different a player he looks from what he did in college. dudes were comparing him to z-bo coming out cause all he did was muscle dudes down low. now in the NBA he's handling the ball at the 3 point line and leading fast breaks like he's charles barkley.

he was getting triple teamed in college, thats the only difference, if you watched all his college games you saw the ball handling, during the start of the season he did mostly post ups, but when we went on the run on the tourny he was doing what he's been doing in preseason, standing at the elbow and taking people off the dribble

no. i though i remember mitch or someone close to him saying he was 4th on the lakers board. presumably behind embiid/wiggins/parker. i don't think exum was rated higher than him on the lakers board.

Exum is my 2nd ROY pick, I don't think Wiggins or Parker will get it and I think in the long run Exum and Randle can be better than both. I gotta see more of Wiggins though for me to say this with confidence.

LA fans about to get mad but how Randle attacks reminds me a lot of how Bosh use to be when he was in Toronto. :whoa:

Big ass compliment because Toronto Bosh was :ohlawd: and a very underrated attacker.

But that freakish speed on the first step, that always attack mentality, that love of the high post, that high motor, and the fact that they can put you into the post if they don't think you can hang.

Bosh was more skilled at scoring and a better shooter but Randle is much more physically imposing and athletic.

Randle is also a damn good passer.

Thats pretty much what I was referring to as well since the majority of both of their points scored at similar stages in career was in the post (and in somewhat similar ways) and were considered strengths in their game. I dont know why that got people so vexxed.Clearly Randle is more explosive and dynamic and has more upside which is what I said so idk.

I wanted the Celts to take him but he and Sullinger are redundant :troll:

Kidding..but I remember a pre-draft Ainge interview talking generally about "trusting team doctors" so that may have played a factor with Randle's supposed foot issue and/or Embiid had the Celtics been in a position to take him somehow. Also, I think Ainge was working so many possible trade avenues that he may have figured Rondo was out the door then or at some point this season (or the pick would go to Min for Love in various points of the time-line)..and also Randle turned down a second workout/meeting with the Celtics. I wanted them to take him though...I was literally saying "anybody but Smart" to my friends before and during the draft :mjcry:
