He has the same skill set as Sullinger though. Minus the shooting.

No he doesnt.

Can Jared Sullinger push the fastbreak himself? Does he have the ability to break down his man off the dribble? Julius has more explosion. They have similar strength and back to basket post skill, but Julius speed and jumping ability is something that Sullinger does not possess which would give him the edge and allows Julius to be a tough guard in a face up post situation....especially in man to man coverage and no double team. Julius is also a decent passer for a PF. Sullinger isnt.

Comparing Julius Randle to Brandon Bass is more accurate if you were even gonna try and slight Randle.

Comparing Julius Randle to Brandon Bass is more accurate imo, even though Randle should be much-much better.

I was referring to their post games. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Of course Randle does all those other things better, hence, why I agreed with the poster who said, "with more upside."

:snoop: No the fukk he does not, Sullinger is nowhere near as fast, as athletic, as good of a ballhandler, as good as a face up post player, ect. They don't have any of the same stregnths, you know nothing about basketball bro, you are in 2 different threads clowning the fukk out of yourself. :camby:

You may disagree with me but that doesn't give you the right to make these statements and be a d*ck.

I'm all for robust debate and constructive criticism but I rarely engage in name-calling, so please, show me the same courtesy. Please show me where I've called you or anybody names. I'll wait...:sas2:

Don't find yourself on my shyt-list.

I just dont like Jared Sullinger being the foundation, that the original posted I quoted made.

Brandon Bass with more upside, maybe.

Anthony Mason with more athleticism and upside, maybe.

Hell, even Clarence Weatherspoon with more athleticism and upside, maybe.

Jared Sullinger? His foundation is more similar to David West's imo.

Him too, but Derrick Coleman skills were elite from day 1:ohlawd:

Julius Randle isnt that skilled yet, but if he can develop his jumper and his skills up to that level:whew:

I was trying to use base players to compare to Randle as of today. He'll have to work hard to become a DC clone:obama:

I'd like to see them clear out for him. Yesterday the guards kept to close to him. They need to cut and clear. No 4's can stay in front of him. Even a 3 like Draymond Green was having trouble

And I still say he reminds me of a Swole LO, maybe it's the lefty thing

It is, because some teams cant even pick the best player on the board even when they have #1 pick:youngsabo:

There was an obvious and steep difference in talent after Randle in last year's draft.

Randle was mocked to the Lakers across the board.

Mitch didn't foresee or do anything that was out the box or genius.

I don't get what the celebration is about.

No he wasnt.

There were reports of us taking Marcus Smart, Doug McDermott, Aaron Gordon, Noah Vonleh, or Zach Lavine as well at the 7 spot.

Most reports had Julius Randle being gone to the Celtics at #6 at latest
