Every time a Dem is in charge, the economy runs reasonably well.

People get complacent and then decide they wanna vote GOP. Then....on cue, the GOP does something to fukk things up and we vote Dem again so they can fix it. Pattern been going on most of our lives.

It's like folks know Democrats are more competent on average, but we just love this weird musical chairs. Mainly white people. Blacks tend to stick with Dems because we know they're not perfect but they're still better than Republicans. Blacks = Pragmatists. Other races mostly vote on "feels" and whoever seems the most anti-Black.

GOP messaging is better because it’s simplistic. The world is nuanced and the general public can’t quickly absorb anything that doesn’t fit on a bumper sticker. At least not for 10 years or so. Look at how long it took the public to figure out Drake and Elon Musk are frauds.

Republicans always have been pegged as better for the economy, its a set in stone kinda thing that I don’t see changing in my life time tbh

We just have to counter it with facts and don’t allow people get away with using the lie. Like when they say they’re the party of small government but want to control every aspect of people’s lives or how they’re for family values but they’re more like Adam family values lol. Was in an Uber earlier hearing to the airport, and made the mistake of making small talk about business with my Black Uber driver.

Let's call him "Ubreh".

Got dude started taking about the economy and he went on and about how terrible the economy was and how horrible a Harris presidency would be. Followed by ranting about illegals, sanctuary cities, etc. Ubreh basically gave me all of Trump's taking points (and had the nerve to say he's independent.)

I just sat back and let Ubreh talk. No pushback, just let him air his grievances.

One we got to the terminal I told him "that's an interesting perspective, Ubreh. Pretty much everything you said was wrong, but thank you for sharing."
