U nikkas and the media think the guards today would have been the same players in the 90s

That’s why I laugh when I hear nikkas criticized bill russell and others playing against white dudes in the 50s and 60s... u think today black players would be able to thrive back then with racism not only from opposition but to the teams and the cities they played on??? Or could steph, Lebron, harden, etc handle death threats to their families and still go out and win... the answer is no...

Their will nikkas in 2039 talking about the same shyt about steph and harden going against trash players

Looking at that list I can doubly confirm that MJ was never outplayed by a player at his position in consecutive finals

Nor have players at his position win 3 or more Finals MVPs against him

Nor have the pivotal shots of the series be either shot dead in his face, or refuse to guard his matchup and allow the pivotal shot be guarded by some far lesser player

Nor shudder from fear and audibly curse when his matchup checked back in the game
Because he never faced teams that were better than his in the 90's (much less a 73-9 team, when he did in ‘95 he lost to the Magic getting stripped in the clutch) and his matchups were never on the level of KAWHI LEONARD or KEVIN DURANT.

His biggest rivals at his position in the East were John Starks and Reggie Miller. :mjlol:

Wait a minute..... :mjlol:

Let’s review that real quick.... :russ:

Who do you you current think are the top 10..... or if that’s too many to name... too five 2 guards currently in league.

Like you think Clyde better than Harden? Klay?:dwillhuh:

Martha
Do I think that a guy that was perennial All-Star and lead his team to the NBA Finals as #1 option, helped capture a NBA title as an excellent #2 option is better than Harden and Klay?

Uhh yeah pretty much

Prime Dumars woulda torched Beal and Wall

I mean, a 4 foot tall midget averaged about 30ppg on them and sent them home in the Eastern semifinals a lil over a year ago :heh:

But Dumars woulda got shytted on? :mjlol:
Dumars ain't torching shyt he wasn't even that great of a scorer :heh:

And now you acting like Dumars was physically imposing? He was a 6'3 SG. :comeon:

Do you really think Joe Dumars is as good a scorer as a prime Isaiah Thomas? :mjlol:

Also, I'm not sure what Beal losing to Boston in the playoffs has to do with anything, Dumars is not a more skilled player than Bradley Beal. If you have eyes you can easily see that.

you niccas are flat out ignorant thinking that "help" in this era is going to slow down MJ. this excerpt was taken from the NY TIMES back in 1987 about Jordan. yall niccas need to step yall knowledge and history of the game up.

"Last season, Jordan had to overcome the harassment of zone traps and double and triple-teaming to win the scoring title by averaging 37.1 points a game. This time, he faces new challenges not only from opposing coaches and their defenses but also from the plans of his own coach."

and that's his career high ppg. he scored over 3k points that season and was the second player in the history of the game to do so (wilt chamberlain was the other one).

Challenges for Jordan: New League Rule and New Role

LeBron would have struggled against this at 6’9 265 but MJ at 195 did it with ease
