I agree with everything said. But in regards to the pedos age , that number can just as easily be a 44 year old man. (I know you said or older ) The 66 year old detective showed how easy it is to get in and out of there.

Book recommendation: The Cases That Haunt Us. Time usually reveals so much in this cases, just like a clarity, even if there is no exact answer. I don't see how a reasonably open minded person weighs all this and comes up with a scenario involving a nine year old or the parents.

Just me speculating, but the reason I would go younger is the way that note is written, the breakdown in that book talked about the movie references, not exact, but very close. Action/thrillers. There's some so dramatic and a little childish about the note, like someone playacting a role.

A 45 year old man something like that, living in the neighborhood, is more likely to have a wife, kids. Where was he going to take Jon Benet? Not home. The way it was planned is like half improvisation and half planning, kind of like a teenage/younger mind.

An 18-25 year old would know about smoke spots, vacant lots, maybe an empty house, kind of places where he was maybe planning to go, obviously a kids brain, not thinking as an adult either. The more stable and grounded a person is, the less likely they are to commit crimes like this. Obviously there are exceptions, (BTK) but it's a good rule. You always look for heavy drinkers/abuse drinkers, underemployed/unemployed, no partner, no kids.

Naw I feel you. You made sense. Personally I just have the personal involved having a closer relationship to him in regards to knowing his Christmas bonus number, so I think I more so am just using age reference in consideration of his peers and co workers. Thanks for the recommendation too. Will check it out

Watched the first two episodes of the Netflix doc last night and will watch the third one later. One thing I heard that hurts the intruder theory is that were intact cobwebs on the basement window he coulda snuck through. Does the Netflix doc mention that at all?

Also, 118k feels like a lot of money to a 18-25 year old. Sexually motivated killers/suspects also tend to escalate their behavior, for instance, the suspect, a neighbor, has been to the house, or met the Ramsey's, maybe multiple times.

Begins by fantasizing about something he knows he shouldn't, a 6 year old girl. Then he maybe walks by the house. Then he maybe breaks in the house while they aren't home, and walks around. People often left doors unlocked. Next he maybe takes some small items. Looks through their shyt, opens mail, goes through papers. Maybe finds that 118k pay stub. By this time he's constantly fantasizing and probably using some kind of porn. Then he reaches the level where he decides to go all in.

There was a straight up open window, still opened, with a suitcase placed beneath it, like someone who was kinda short and needed it to climb up, or was expecting the small child to do so.

yea but See that’s the part in which we slightly differ with the age. Im not sure someone just stumbled across that information in his drawer. I get they were there for a while and had time to, but I think there is more than that. So that’s why I can’t go down to 18. I just think it was someone a little closer to them. I think they knew they would be at that party. You can tell when you walk in that house that this man has millions. To be clear I’m not arguing with your entire age range as being out the question. I’m just saying I don’t think they are under 20. I have someone older than that. Honestly it don’t really matter. Main thing is just the mystery of how close is this person to them. A neighbor is surely close enough regardless. I disagree with everyone on the random intruder tip

Not really

I think patsy just snapped

Lots of murders be like that

Then the cover up
But why did she snap? The bed wasn’t actually wet, which is the bogus claim boulder pd originally made. She just beat cancer and snapped to kill her 6 year old daughter for no reason??

She took JonBenet to the doctors multiple times leading up to JonBenet's murder. All signs point to her being abused in the past.

Bed wetting is a symptom of that. Where was it proven that she didn't wet the bed that night?

At the end of the day most if not all of the evidence points to the parents. Even the ransom note was in her hand writing.

We all are theorizing and everything but there are some things that can be deaded. The FBI used handwriting and forgery experts and collected samples of both parents handwriting. They came out 100% clear in writing the letter. You don’t believe the fbi?
