Jonathan Majors is probably the most exciting actor to come along this decade. [ARTICLE]

Johnathan Majors has been super solid so far, tho I've honestly only seen him in in about 3-4 roles. Not sure why the slant and seeming hate for him ironically going on in this thread.

I'm not sure who Yahya is, but I will say as far as young black actors go Lakeith Stanfield has the LOOK of a star more than any of them. He is a good actor, not great. But he has potential.

Yahya is the guy that played Black Manta in Aquaman (which was the one flick I've seen him in that I didn't feel he did the greatest; could've been on part of the directing or something). He's also looking to be Morpheus role in the new Matrix. He's the main lead in the new Candyman movie. He's been all over the place as of lately. Solid actor as well, tho I feel Majors is bit better considering Yahya came off a lil try hard as Black Manta. Pretty good in everything else I've seen of him tho.

Should be the next Black Panther TBH

Should be a redemption arc for Wakabi to make things right by protecting Wakanda with its king gone.

TBH, you must be off the fukking boat or something with that. Hell no! Not even hate towards Kaluya or anything because he's a great actor, but that would be one of the worst fukking decisions they could every make.

I rock with him in just about everything I've seen him in. He's up next.

You don't get to be the MCU's next Thanos level big bad without having some chops. shyt - the way that character works, he could be playing that role into his 60's.

Yahya Abdul Mateen has 'it' though. Really liked him in Watchmen. He was dope in The Get Down too. I'm intrigued to see what he does as Morpheus.

What would you want to see them do ideally, knowing factually they refuse to recast T'Challa?

I just felt with his acting chops, elevated stardom, and a storyline that made sense, it kinda worked.

:wow: favorite current black actor besides Chadwick

:mjcry:

Honestly, I never knew Chadwick had so many fans. He was just ok as Jackie Robinson & James Brown. He was good as Thurgood Marshall (movie was ehhh) and in 21 Bridges, but forgettable in Gods of Egypt and MCU movies besides Civil War...and maybe captivating in less than 1/2 of his TV appearances...at least the ones I saw...Fringe, Lincoln Heights, Castle, Cold Case..

I like bruh, I think he's a good actor but is that much better than Lakeith Stanfield?

I feel like Lakeith has more range and has the capability to play more roles. Drama, comedic, action. I just think he’s a brilliant actor and one of the best working in the game right now.

I do wanna see all these bruhs win tho :blessed:

I don't think dude is basic. I think he's above average like a few others have said. I think he brings that element to roles like Denzel did and Chadwick did where part of the character is him. I know some people don't really like that shyt, but i think it's aight when done properly. I think this article was written because people want to hitch their wagon to his train early.

Except that it doesn't work at all, fool, lol! That's just as bad or worse than the whole, "let's just make Killmonger the new one" shyt. Hell no.

What they could do is just use all these multi-verse angles and have the original BP's death also be cannon in the MCU and replace him with one of the alternate world versions, thus recasting him without actually doing so.
