Don't know how I forget about Kaluuya. He is amazing and is fully formed at this point as far as his skillset.
lakeith is my favorite but he definitely got some issues going on i hope he gets sorted out
i think we got some good young potential black young actors but unfortunately i dont think we got anyone that can fill chadwick shoes right now. he was the next denzel for our generation. i dont think we got anybody with potential to get to that level, yet atleast

da 5 bloods he had a presence and i enjoyed his work on lovecraft country..his appearance on loki gave me a glimpse of some serious acting chops

The media being behind him compared to any other black man is a red flag to me
Usually when the media pushes a black man he is gay, lightskin, old asf or if he is dark skinned he has an unattractive trait somewhere.

I'm not sure who Yahya is, but I will say as far as young black actors go Lakeith Stanfield has the LOOK of a star more than any of them. He is a good actor, not great. But he has potential.

Damn near every young actor get a push....regardless of their ethnicity. It's really about what they do with it. Remember Rob Brown? Sean Patrick Thomas? Hollywood media gets behind an actor/actress for a 1-2 year window, then moves on.
