One of the details of the story I’m not understanding is the harping on the match “only” being 11 minutes. 11 minutes is plenty of time to tell a story or have a decent match. The average UFC fight is something like nine minutes.

Because Gresham's only "standout" skill is all that technical wrestling grapple/reversal shyt that requires long ass drawn out matches to showcase
You're right tho in general. That one Goldberg-Brock match that went less than 10 mins was incredible. Not every match needs to be 20+ mins with half a dozen nearfalls.

It's the ol' grass isn't always greener on the other side. His tag team partner on Impact seemed to elevate his career once they broke up and left for AEW. Hopefully, Tony uses ROH as a place for guys like Page to get some time, but I am very skeptical about ROH when it doesn't have a tv show or even a youtube showEthan page on twitter unhappy

I've never understood not having a ROH YouTube show until he can land a TV deal. They could do a Dark-level production since it's theoretically cheap or turn Dark Elevation into the ROH show and just have legit matches on either of those instead of making them like 95% squash matches like it is now. Get some guys building momentum, have stories between PPVs that don't take away from AEW TV time, build an audience to show the networks for a TV show, have fresh content being added to the Honor Club, etc.

Yeah, it seems like Tony is just winging it with ROH, and he easily could've put it on YouTube for now until TV deal. Also, can use ROH to put talent like Ethean Page, Moriarty, Private party, and others that aren't getting much TV time.
