Never thought I would see the day when the WWE is the gold standard on how to treat black wrestlers

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It took decades for them to put the WWF/WWE championship on a 100% black wrestler only to job him out in seconds. Every black WWE champion never felt like the MAN of the promotion.

Professional wrestling as a whole is racist but people are all of sudden acting AEW is the only promotion that has issue with race.

WWE has gotten a LITTLE better though.

The communication thing is a repeated criticism from wrestlers about Tony Khan. He really needs to work on that. At the very least there should be someone that the workers can go to that they know will communicate their issues to TK for them since Khan himself seems to be doing a shyt job with having open lines of communication with people who work for him.

I also can see Gresham's point about the duration of the match. It was mentioned in the PPV thread by people about how short the match was.

On the flip side, Gresham announcing he's leaving wrestling for a while and that he recently deleted the Terminus social media accounts makes it seem like there is other stuff going on with him that are separate from anything to do with Khan.

And as unfair as it is, Gresham is probably going to have to come to terms with the ceiling for his career advancement based on his size and wrestling style. Dude is shorter than Rey Misterio and he is going to be hard pressed to find a company that will make him their top guy just because of his size.

Sounds like they need a EVP of Talent Relations. If they have one already, then they’re doing a shytty job at it. If they don’t, then they need to get one ASAP as it’s crazy that Khan is wearing all the hats in the organization essentially.
