I feel like truly funny or scary is harder to pull off than dramatic. No reason classic comedies or horror movies shouldn’t get oscars when it’s harder to pull of a great one than it is a great drama.

This makes me miss Jonah Hill. Where the fukk has been at the last few years? He was making bank with those Jump Street films and earning Oscar nods for Moneyball and WOWS, and then it just seemed like he disappeared into the stratosphere.

No doubt. He’s been chilling. He is going to be in the new Adam McKay directed movie Don’t Look Up tho which also stars DiCaprio & it’s a comedy so I have high hopes for that one
since McKay also wrote Step Brothers/Anchorman/Talledega Nights...
but I get it cuz of the agenda. 
Last thing I’ve seen him in was Cary Fukunaga’s Maniac on Netflix which was pretty dope, but a departure from the comedic roles Hill usually plays.No doubt. He’s been chilling. Out of his broad comedies, Liar Liar for sure. His more reflective performances like Eternal Sunshine and Truman should've been layups easily
