The reason they’ve been under the microscope is because they’re the only big company out there. :beli:

It doesn’t matter if the E markets to kids while AEW doesn’t. If a kid likes WWE I’m sure they’ll eventually stumble upon AEW. You have no control over what people watch or do, so you can’t just sit here and say, “will someone think of the children?!”
some will continue to search for more wrestling, of course. Many won't. Most people i know remember WWE during the cartoon era and can't tell you shyt else about wrestling. There are people that don't know who some NXT wrestlers are. And it really does matter that WWE markets to kids because people literally take their kids to WWE. Those AEW/NJPW crowds in the U.S. are arenas full of 20 somethings. Pretty much two different markets being tapped into. :snoop: People that i know who literally took their kids to see the shyt and posting all kinds of IG stories and shyt with their kids at WWE having a good time. :heh:

You obviously missed my point. Of course it matters whom the E markets to, but only to them. That wasn’t what I was referring to. Kids are gonna be curious and search out things. There’s no stopping that.

perhaps the WWE product is good to kids. :jbhmm: I've already had my childhood period with wrestling where i fell in love with the genre and they marketed to me as a kid. What if I'm okay with a company giving a kid friendly version of wrestling so that a whole new set fans can fall in love with the product? :jbhmm: AEW appeals to older people and that's perfectly fine. They are filling a void. :hubie:

My 12 year old relative was talking about AEW for an hour on discord while playing fortnite with a buncha kids last night. And he was never a big wrestling fan.

His father which is my uncle only watches Wrestlemania, Summer slam and big events like this

Kids will be open to anything, all you need is that one wrestling stan in the crew to open the gate for the others :_banksrejoice:

lol I was just explaining why WWE might want to heavily script their product or why they may want to give that greenlight on ideas to a select few. :manny: WWE has major flaws, but i'm also not above looking at the why behind why they do certain things. You got people like Rhea Rhipley calling people "fakkits" on twitch and Lars' entire internet history is out here and people want them to get live mics. :pachaha:

finally listened. some of the shyt he’s complaining about might’ve gotten over if he did. the thing with the surgical mask, then the hazmat suit might’ve gotten some cheap heat. and i’m not being a WWE mark. I’m partially #nowatchgang as i watch about once a month.

You’re acting like they’re gonna shoot on each other or expose their true selves on live TV. :dead:

pretty sure the reason many fans are quick to defend WWE anytime something negative comes out about them is because they're scared of WWE going away. let's just be real, most wrestling fans grew up watching WWE and don't want it to go away.

with that said those fans have to understand that WWE isn't going anywhere. they will not go out of business or anything crazy like that regardless of how successful AEW is or isn't. WWE has increased in revenue every single year since the mid-90's (with the exception of the one year Vince lost his ass on the original XFL), they set a record high in revenue last year with $900 million, and they will easily do over $1 billion this year and the foreseeable years. even if AEW were to blow up and do hundreds in millions in revenue and drop WWE's revenue by a significant amount, WWE could easily slash half their talent roster cost, take the company back private again, etc., etc...point is being pro-AEW isn't necessarily anti-WWE for many. everyone should want both companies to thrive in order to provide the best of both worlds and to hopefully clean up all of the nonsense going on in WWE right now.

Vince deserves props for changing the industry back in the day and bringing it to the forefront over the last several decades. however it's clear that at 73 years old he is not in touch and is micro-managing the company more than ever. it's like he completely forgot what got his company to the level it is today. hopefully once the XFL starts back up in 9 months he will focus more on that. also, hopefully AEW is at least successful enough to bring more attention to the terribly unethical business practices of WWE when it comes to their "independent contractor" abuse.

:dead: at being concerned about the kids. FOH. :mjlol:

Kids are gonna be exposed to foul shyt anyway. You know the internet? The thing you’re on. Kids can access shyt. Movies, shows, even cartoons, deal with adult themes.

Even us older cats found ways or stumbled upon adult shyt in the 90s. This goes back generations.

And if parents even give a damn about what their kids see they wouldn’t even have them watch wrestling because there’s fuxkin violence. :stopitslime:

Stooging, y’all. :deadmanny:
nikkas acting like kids weren't watching the Attitude era anyway :mjlol:

I was seven years old at the height of Russo's Attitude fukkeryi and every kid in my school was watching that shyt. Hell I first found out about it by my dad assuming I watched it. He didn't keep up with wrestling but he liked The Rock and Stone Cold :mjlol:
