You can't do shyt like it used to be in 2019, with $100 million dollar TV contracts and sponsors and shyt. It's just a different world.

As far as the scripts go don't you think it would be better if they got a script on let's say.. Friday, to give them 3 days to prepare for RAW? Just as an example. Part of the reason the shyt sounds so hectic from what Ambrose said is cuz the shyt is literally happening in a span of like 2 hours on one day because it gets re-written 20 times. So you give a script of stupid shyt from the brain of a 70-year-old cokehead to someone who has to try to make sense of it within the next hour and perform it on TV. No actor in the world has to be under those kind of conditions, you get a script weeks/months in advance to prepare.

This dude really said bullet points and free styling wouldn’t work today. :dead: :deadmanny:

Wrestlers are NOT Hollywood actors. They’re more linked to stuntmen actors. You can’t expect them to portray emotion from a script when they don’t even have proper training in theatrics. :gucci:

Please don’t bring up actual wrestlers who became actors. Yes, some are gonna have the charisma to pull it off, but not all.

These cats need to speak from the “heart” more than reading a script. You can tell most of the time how fake the acting is when a promo is cut.

At this point, WWE is indefensible. Or Vince is indefensible.

It's strange how even after the wrestlers come out and confirm what we always talk about, people still have a problem with it, and even go as far as sticking up for the WWE. I pretty much gave up on Ambrose's heel run almost as soon as it started, because it was obvious that none of it made sense and they had no legitimate ideas for him outside of what happened on the first night. And then hearing about a promo that Vince was stupid enough to pitch to Dean, with the very real possibility that they would lose sponsors off it? It's a good thing Dean shut it down. :picard:

It's funny to me how much WWE celebrates the Attitude Era and wishes people cared about them like they did back then, but they refuse to use any of the methods they used back then. In 2019, when shows change on a dime, certain events aren't even finalized before the show starts, storylines start and stop abruptly, and Vince changes his mind on decisions constantly, there's no use in heavy scripting. The format doesn't call for it. Ambrose said it himself, with those big words that Vince likes so much but sound awkward when they're actually said in a promo. Or the fact that they have to name drop shyt all the time, like they'll have them say WWE Fastlane. Why? You're in the WWE, you don't have to say that! And the event's in the past! :mindblown:

The contrast between a script in 2000 and a script in 2009 is ridiculous. I didn't even know they were scripting the wrestlers that much at the time. I thought that was only something that took off this decade. Literally everything was written down to the bone. And that was when the company still had competent writing. :deadrose:

It was obvious as soon as The Shield broke up they never had any long term plans for Dean.

From the day The Shield debuted, it was already believed that Ambrose would be a top heel, Roman would be a top face, and Seth would be the upper midcard face who fell by the wayside compared to the other two.

It ended up being the other way around for Seth and Dean at first, even though Dean was by far the most over of the three when they broke up. And WWE capitalized on his popularity by having him lose every feud he was in for over a year. Straight Bray Wyatt status (but at least Bray won their feud).

And yet.... some will.

Either they gonna try to take shots calling Vince a King/GOAT or calling everyone else stans like they not stans themselves and even worse WWE stans

It appears that the former Dean Ambrose isn't the only one who has had thoughts about leaving WWE. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, there are a number of people who are interested in leaving the company and some of the names would reportedly shock fans. Meltzer noted that the majority of the people in the company have at least inquired about outside opportunities, and that you can count the number of people who haven't "on one to two hands."

In recent months, several talents have asked for their release, including The Revival, Sasha Banks and Luke Harper. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have also reportedly turned downnew contracts.

Must be two different TSC’s, cause some are in this thread right now and multiple other threads

I remember seeing a script from 99 vs one from maybe 2013 or so. The ‘99 one damn near looked like a blank sheet of paper, hardly had any words on it. The 2013 script looked like a Harry Potter novel :dead: shyt was literally written out verbatim, with little notes in parentheses even telling the wrestlers how to emote lmaooo

I suspect that to be a dap fish. There are posters defending WWE but it's about 3 of them tops and one of them has recently gone out of his way to make it his gimmick. If you want to see posters strangely defending WWE go to the last Ryback thread nikkas was shytting on him for having the same complaints as them.
