Since the wrestling business is about to "go to war" there needs to be lines drawn in the sand. The Sasha and WWE drama needs to come to a conclusion at some point, because if the company starts producing a better product she can't just walk back in and take a top spot. If anybody wants to leave and i'm Vince i'd cut them and let them know that I wish them well but I also don't plan on losing any war.
Why not?

So you think that a person who walked out(don't blame her) can just walk back in and claim a top spot ahead of people fighting a wrestling war? If they turn the product around without her help she can't just show up after all the hard work has been done and decide she's ready to be a star again, that's why she should come back now while the entire women's division is in shambles.

Hold on, kiddo...they put themselves in this position with their own arrogance. They apparently have outright lied to Sasha...Cripple H is in charge of the NXT shyt..he should of never let them play Sasha or Asuka like that. Asuka taps out Becky but can barely be fit into the WM show? And they half heartedly pushed their new favorite blonde Mandy with a odd win over her and she still lost when it mattered.

This dude really said bullet points and free styling wouldn’t work today. :dead: :deadmanny:

Wrestlers are NOT Hollywood actors. They’re more linked to stuntmen actors. You can’t expect them to portray emotion from a script when they don’t even have proper training in theatrics. :gucci:

Please don’t bring up actual wrestlers who became actors. Yes, some are gonna have the charisma to pull it off, but not all.

These cats need to speak from the “heart” more than reading a script. You can tell most of the time how fake the acting is when a promo is cut.

So you think they are unable to memorize and read a script, but you want them to go out on live TV and play Whos Line Is It Anyways? :mjlol:

This shyt is a live TV show with storylines (no matter how shytty they are) that they get paid hundreds of millions of dollars to produce. It's not fukkin improv night at the comedy club.

Nobody is expecting a Daniel Day Lewis acting performance but you need some scripting to go off of. For every Miz who did good on Talking Smack with it more unscripted, you had people like Bayley who were fukking atrocious.

This makes no sense. Why would Vince let people go and give his competition star power they otherwise wouldn't have if he wants to win the war? It is definitely in Vince's best interest to not let anyone with any star power or cache with the AEW audience even if it means holding them hostage and doing nothing with them for 2 years. It sucks for the talent and fans of the talent, but makes sense from Vince's perspective.

Pick up a script, memorize 2-3 pages of dialogue and action scenes, know what emotions you’re gonna use, and cut it yourself. See how easy it is. I can supply you plenty of scripts for you to try. :usure:

Even if they had a few days to prepare, which you are for, they still have to travel, wrestle, work out, etc. How much time will they have to try it? Plus there are rewrites, last minute changes, and shyt to make all that memorizing useless. :dahell:

Think about shyt before you type your response. :gucci:

I wonder when exactly the heavy scripting started. I have to think it probably spun out of HHH's 15-20 minute monologues, where whoever was interrupting would have to be responding to specific lines at specific times, and then that became the default format for in ring promos, and then spread to backstage stuff as well. I want to say you could tell there was a change around 2004-2005 and it got more and more pronounced from there.

Right, they have to do all that, but you think that after all that, they should get to the arena and just freestyle some shyt off the dome? Nobody in any line of entertainment does that, except improv actors, and they don't just roll out of bed and do it. They have to go thru all sort of training and shyt like that.

If you wanna argue they should change the format of how they do shows, that's one thing and I agree. If you do a pre-taped promo like the one Cody did on Dustin, then yeah, you don't need a writer scripting that. But who knows how many times Cody cut that before finally being done w/ it? On live TV you don't get retakes, so I'm not tryna give the mic to a Ronda Rousey or Bayley or someone to just go out there and flub over shyt on live TV. When you got live promos being cut, wrestlers interacting with each other backstage, you can't just have em going off the dome with whatever they wanna say.

If I was AEW I'd turn away most of the WWE midcarders anyway. That's some TNA type of shyt to have dudes like Rusev and whoever else is mad at WWE coming over and you start booking them like top guys. AEW need to build their own stars.

Which is why he’s taxing everyone now. Sasha wants out? Extend her another 30 days. Luke and the good brothers want out? Extend them another 60 days

Gallows and Anderson turned down new contracts and as far as well all know haven't been injured so there would be no reason for their contracts to be extended.

Your point is fukkin idiotic. You out here saying they aren't actors so don't try to make them memorize lines, but then you say they should go out there off the dome and improv which is harder for most "actors" than reading lines. What makes you think most of these clowns should be trusted to go out on live TV and say whatever they want :gucci:

Watch promos and monologues from the 90s and below. Hell, watch some from the early 2000s. Then watch those from 2005 until today. Tell me how many stand out from the crowd from each era. I guarantee you everything before 2002 will be better.

Stop quoting me. I’m done trying to have a rational argument with you. :beli:
